Our victory in life in totally dependent on our submission to the Holy Spirit. Jesus helps us understand what we should believe about the Holy Spirit in the book of John. We no longer have to rely on ourselves because God sent an Advocate (the Holy Spirit) to help us, to teach us, to guide us, to live in us, and to be with us forever. Often times, we are trying to use our own power to do what can only be done by the power of the Holy Spirit. We must continue to be lead by the Spirit in order to draw closer to Jesus.

Who is Jesus to you? This is the most important question that you will answer in you life. Don't rely on humanity to answer this question for you. Instead, explore God's Word and open your hearts and minds to what it says about Jesus: that salvation comes through Christ, the one and only Son of God. Are you trusting Jesus for your salvation? We want you to declare, "I believe in Jesus Christ!"

As humans, we can never meet God's standards and expectations on our own, but God reminds us that we can meet the standard of righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ who atones for our sins. Reconciliation with God can only happen through Jesus Christ.

The truth about love is that love is a choice not a feeling. When we come into a marriage, we bring a worldview of love that is not biblical. Biblical love (agape) is a choice to actively and sacrificially do what is in the interest of the marriage and your spouse for the glory of God. Are you willing to do what God tells you to do and love how God tells you to love for your marriage?

What does it take for you to have a healthy marriage? God is the creator of marriage. God's intent for marriage is oneness; becoming one with your spouse by submitting to God and each other. A healthy marriage begins with you! Choose to grow closer to Christ so you can become emotionally healthy for yourself and your spouse. Are you willing to allow God to work on you?

A myth of marriage is that marriage is all about us, but the truth of a Christian marriage is for God to be glorified and for the Gospel to be on display. There is nothing that has greater priority for God than God being glorified. For those who are married or desire to be married; marriage should be a part of your curriculum for being more Christ-like. Therefore, for those who are already married, does your behavior reflect God's character in your marriage and for those who desire to be married, how will being married bring more glory to God than you being single?
