Sometimes, we as Christians find ourselves having a middle ground attitude about life-an "I don't care, I'm just waiting on Jesus to come back"-type of attitude. Those of us who have accepted the salvation of Jesus are exiles in a foreign land-this world is not our home! Yet, while we are passing through, we have a responsibility and an obligation to make the best of our reality for the glory of God. Are you living the standard of life God would have you to live?

There are many people who are called by the Lord and they obey, but there are many who rebel or run. We are all given an assignment when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. There is nowhere you can run and nowhere you can hide from the Lord. The assignments assigned to us may seem enormous and impossible but God will prepare and help you. Are you living in obedience or disobedience? Choose obedience!!

Sometimes we lose sight of our blessings when we go through trials and troubles. We as believers need to learn how to trust God even when it seems there is no way out! Place your hope and confidence in the Lord because He is faithful even in the midst of the unknown.

Jesus became vulnerable for us and He is committed to us! There are times when we have to be transparent and vulnerable with each other. We've been delivered to share our witness, to become accountable to each other, and to lift one another up in prayer. We need to connect with one another and recognize that everyone is valuable to the kingdom.

Jesus is coming back and we need to stay alert because we don't know the day nor the hour! Will you be ready? We as children of the Light have the responsibility to live like Jesus is coming back. We need to encourage one another and build each other up so that not only are we prepared for His return but others can be prepared for when He comes back!

We as members of the body of Christ have the responsibility to teach and admonish one another with all wisdom. We must submit and live in the peace of Christ, saturate ourselves in the word of God, and commit to make Jesus' name great in word and deed. So that, the word of God flows out of us into our conversations and interactions with one another.
