We as a culture have a distorted sense of reality. Yet when it comes to the Word of God we struggle to embrace that reality for us which is because of God's great love we are His children, one day when He appears we will be like Him, but in the meantime we should surrender ourselves to Him and let Him clean us up so we are ready when He returns.

Don't love the world, because the moment you do there are consequences. Anyone who loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. We can only have allegiance to one or the other.

The archenemy of love is hate, which is darkness, but God is light and those who fellowship with Him walks in the light.

We need to be a living example for our Lord. We need to put on the traits of the Lord to face the enemy: Encouragement, Love, Fellowship, Compassion, Joy, Humility, and Develop Others

Knowing God changes how we live. As we grow closer to God we begin to take on His characteristics which moves us to love like Him.
