Today, we celebrate the Saints Triumphant—those believers who have died and been welcomed into their true home with Jesus. We look forward to being reunited with them one day.

What does it mean that God keeps us “safe”? Christians throughout the ages have learned that God’s Church is both the most dangerous place to be and the safest place to be. How can both be true?

For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

This week we begin a “Welcome Home” message series that will continue through November. The question for today is this: Is our congregation a home that is welcoming to all?
