"A PERIOD OR A COMMA?"
John 11:25
"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.
Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live."
I. "THAT'S ALL, FOLKS"
A. Bugs Bunny, "That's all, folks!"

B. The question of Easter: is that inscription true?
C. The crucifixion, death and burial of Jesus
seemed like a period.
D. Times in our lives, when it's like a period.
II. EASTER'S WAKE UP CALL
A. A call to begin to live life as God meant life to
be lived.
B. Story of Carol, a church organist.
C. Mary Magdalene, the other Mary, and Salome,
got a wake up call.
D. One word turned Mary's tragedy into triumph.
E. What would it take for us to really believe?
III. REDEEMED LIVING
A. Redeemed living is living without blame, guilt,
or shame.
B. You are God's, twice God's; created and bought
back...redeemed.
C. The Resurrection is God's "Amen," to Jesus' "It is
finished."
D. Redeemed living can begin right now, because
of the Resurrection.
IV. ABUNDANT LIVING
A. Abundant living is believing that the same
power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, is
available to us now.
B. Abundant living is believing that life has
possibilities, that every period can be a comma.
C. The dad who took his two year old son to the
grocery store.
D. Abundant living changes our outlook.
V. ETERNAL LIVING
A. Because of the Resurrection, death no longer is
a period, but a comma.
B. A mix up at the florist.
C. Death of Peter Marshall, "I'll see you in the morning."
VI. TURN THAT PERIOD INTO A COMMA!
A. Life is more than "just existing."
B. LIVE as a redeemed person, LIVE abundantly and LIVE eternally.
C. God doesn't just want to make our lives better,
but transformed.
D. Ephesians 3:17-19
E. Hear God's wake up call...Jesus is alive!
