A warning and encouragement about the future of the world.

We wrap up our time in Hebrews with 4:1-13. We'll be thinking all about God's rest. The pattern set up in Genesis, the picture under Joshua and the perfection in our eternal rest.

I've got two points:

1. Be afraid of missing out on God's rest.

2. Make every effort to enter God's eternal rest.

Christians are to follow Jesus' example in our interactions with others

Christians are to persevere in faith, following the example of Jesus and avoiding the example of the wilderness generation.

The Gospel is true and authentic, partner with those who hold to it.

GWC Sunday - Love the Lord with all your heart

Jesus, as our high priest, is the mediator of a better covenant.

God desires a heart of mercy and forgiveness to the poor.

Jesus is a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
