This is the first sermon in a 4 part series, "Yeah but what about..." that addresses doubts and questions people have about faith. This week's topic was, "Yeah, but what about the bad things that happen to good people?" We read from Genesis 35, Jeremiah 31, and Matthew 2. Next week, we'll ask, "Yeah, but what about everything we know from science?" The following week, we'll ask, "Yeah, but what about all those Christians who act like jerks." The final week, we'll ask, "Yeah, but what's the point?"

This was a special Sunday where we welcomed Rev. Dr. Jim Bankston to preach to us about how to reach out to the community around us. The text was Luke 8:40-50, and the message was wonderful and inspiring!

This Palm Sunday was the end of our Covenant sermon series at St. Stephen's. Nathan talked about the fact that Jesus knew what he was up to when he asked for a donkey, that we're called to insist on good and life even in the face of death, and that we all get called to wave our palms.
