"Who do people say the Son of Man is?" "Who do you say I am?" This is about making a confession of faith about the identity of Jesus. And the question could be asked, what would help so one could make the correct and true confession?

In our text for today, Jesus travels to an area that is beyond those borders that are considered Jewish areas. He goes to the area of Tyre and Sidon, in a land known as Phoenicia (which coincides with the present-day country of Lebanon).
