  • How Much Does Money Matter When You’re Deciding to Say “I Do”?
This week’s confession has us asking a big relationship question: How much does money matter when you’re deciding whether to get married?

One man says his girlfriend turned down his proposal because she couldn’t see a future without a better lifestyle even though he had secretly won six figures in the lottery.

Stacey and J Sbu put it to KZN: Is financial stability essential before marriage, and what are you waiting for a better salary, a house, savings or being debt-free? But you NEED to hear the call that came in, because Stacey and J Sbu have actually lived this in their own relationships and what that call turned into is something you’ll want to hear. Listen right to the end.

  • Who’s Living Like the Cost-of-Living Crisis Doesn’t Exist?
There’s always ONE person in the household who clearly didn’t get the memo about the cost-of-living crisis!

While everyone else is budgeting, cutting back and watching every cent, they’re still ordering takeaways, buying things they don’t need, taking ridiculously long showers or casually adding things to the shopping trolley.

J Sbu asked KZN: Who in your household is living like the cost-of-living crisis doesn’t exist — and what do they keep wasting money on?

From the family member who can’t stop online shopping to the one who leaves every light on, KZN is exposing the biggest money wasters in their homes.

Press play and find out who KZN says needs to start taking the budget seriously!

J Sbu asked KZN: What have you been forced to cut from your budget just to survive?

We’re talking about the things we used to buy without thinking twice that have now become a serious budget discussion.

What have YOU had to sacrifice because everything costs more? Press play and hear how KZN is making their money stretch.

  • Great Drive Debate: Should Schools Prioritise Local Children?
School admissions can be a complicated issue, especially when the school you want for your child isn’t in the area where you live.

Stacey and J Sbu asked whether children who live outside a school’s designated area should be allowed admission, or whether schools should prioritise learners who live within the local community.

Should a child’s opportunities be determined by their postcode, or should local families get first preference for schools in their area?

Listen to the debate and decide for yourself.

  • Marriage Hotline: How Did THAT Get You In Trouble?
Every Wednesday, the hotline opens and this week, it was all about relationships. Stacey and J Sbu asked: What’s the small thing you got into trouble with your partner for?

Because sometimes it’s not the big stuff… it’s leaving the cupboard open, forgetting to reply to a “Did you get home?” text, liking the wrong Instagram post, eating the last piece of food or simply saying, “I’m fine” when you’re clearly NOT fine. 😂

From petty arguments to the tiny habits that drive your partner crazy, KZN had plenty to say about the little things that can somehow turn into BIG relationship drama.

If you missed it live, listen in — and prepare to feel very seen!

  • Great Drive Debate: Where Should The Line Be With Teachers & WhatsApp?
Teachers and WhatsApp convenient communication or a boundary that shouldn’t be crossed?

This week’s Great Drive Debate asked: Should teachers be allowed to WhatsApp learners privately, or should all communication happen in monitored groups or official school platforms?

Some say private messages make it easier to communicate quickly, especially when it comes to homework, emergencies or one-on-one support. Others believe there need to be clear boundaries to protect both learners and teachers.

So where do you stand? Private WhatsApps, monitored groups, or official school platforms only? We put it to KZN.

  • Should you pay your parents rent or move out?
This week on Confessions, Taylor finds himself facing a difficult decision after finally landing a job.

His parents have told him they want 30% of his salary or he'll be kicked out of the house. On top of that, they won't help with transport costs and, according to Taylor, they treat him badly.

So what should he do? Stay at home and pay up, or use his salary to rent a place with friends and start fresh?

Stacey and J Sbu opened the lines and asked listeners to weigh in on this complicated family and financial dilemma.

  • Are major international summits worth the disruption for locals?
Durban recently hosted the 46th SADC Summit, welcoming heads of state and international attention to the city.

While events of this scale can boost Durban's profile, attract investment and showcase the city on a global stage, they can also bring road closures, traffic congestion and disruptions for residents and businesses.

Stacey and J Sbu asked whether the long term benefits of hosting major international summits outweigh the short term inconvenience experienced by locals.

Listen to the debate and decide for yourself.

From Akon apparently wanting to "kick it like Thabo" to Taylor Swift singing about a "Woolworths pie", these misheard lyrics will have you questioning everything you thought you knew.
