Bat week is underway internationally. Tune in to learn a little more about these creatures that can be found in every corner of Texas, and all the places in between.

Today's episode features Sabine River Authority Natural Resources Management Director Bill Kirby, and Angelina and Neches River Authority(ANRA) representatives, Kimberly Wagner, Communications Director, ANRA Wildlife Biologist Allie McElroy and ANRA Clean Rivers  Project Manager Carla Ethridge.  We discuss the current awareness program taking place across a wide area of  East Texas. We also discuss the turtle’s lifespan and size, keeping your ”pieces and parts” while in the water with them, and the black market demand for alligator snapping turtles in fancy restaurants just across the Louisiana state line.  It's a fun and informative episode!
