If you are not familiar with the events of THE STAIRCASE, here's essentially what happened.. Back in December 2001, Kathleen Peterson (48) was found dead at the bottom of the staircase. Her husband of four years, Michael, called 911 and reported the death. 

The autopsy concluded that Kathleen died by homicide. Michael was then arrested and charged with the murder of Kathleen. What happens beyond that is a wildass, bonkers-as-hell courtroom drama.

We explore several chapters, including an amusing period in his life where Freddy was once married to an aspiring young actress born Demi Guynes, but whom the world now knows as Demi Moore. Yes, that Demi. Guess where the Moore part comes from?
