April 21, 2023The Staircase (with Marlene Sharp)Greetings! In this episode we are joined by Marlene Sharp to discuss all things THE STAIRCASE. We cover a little bit about everything: the HBO series, the Netflix true-crime documentary as well as the Michael Peterson case itself. If you are not familiar with the events of THE STAIRCASE, here's essentially what happened.. Back in December 2001, Kathleen Peterson (48) was found dead at the bottom of the staircase. Her husband of four years, Michael, called 911 and reported the death. The autopsy concluded that Kathleen died by homicide. Michael was then arrested and charged with the murder of Kathleen. What happens beyond that is a wildass, bonkers-as-hell courtroom drama.
