Ephesians 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Satan appears in Genesis as a
serpent and if I was there, I would definitely want my snake-proof boots. He is
a crafty devil, however, and appears in many forms, including an “angel of
light”. Scripture describes him as the enemy, as a roaring lion seeking whom he
may devour. In this lifetime of spiritual warfare, we don’t have the strength
to defeat him, except when we walk in the steps of God, following Jesus, living
in righteousness, and wearing the armor of God. Today we will take a look at
what it means to wear the armor of God and having heard, being better-equipped
to fight the attacks of the enemy.
