I woke up feeling alive. I watched the sunrise and its colorful clouds. I made my bed, and I went about my day. I felt relaxed yet vibrant. At sunset, I washed the dishes, then I relaxed for the evening. I went to bed thinking it was a good day, and most importantly, I felt good. My mood that day made me long for that same feeling the following morning. Somewhat unconsciously, the next day, I caught myself tidying up my space as I did the day before. I’ve been doing so since then. The thought of not straightening up before turning the lights off for the night gives me an unfulfilling feeling. I have a routine, and the consistency makes me feel proactive.
