An Australian senator has been strongly criticized after he blamed the New Zealand shooting on Muslim immigration. Following the attack, which left 49 people dead at two mosques in Christchurch, Fraser Anning tweeted: “Does anyone still dispute the link between Muslim immigration and violence?” is there any legitimacy to this senator's statements?

What is going on that a shooting at a Mosque (the most recent shooting in New Zealand) gets wall to wall coverage, but the actions of Islamic ideologically committed Muslims does not?

Islamic ideology is not "kind." Nor does Islamic ideology seek to "stop violence instead of fueling it." Fourteen hundred years of Islamic advancement across the globe has always been at the end of a sword and in the most violent means possible. Why is it important that Americans understand this?
