Recently it was reported that the Chinese may attempt to sink two U.S military aircraft carriers. The mere fact that the official Chinese spokespeople are saying that their strategy is to sink two U.S. aircraft carriers, that they have the technology to do it, and that they are willing to test the resolve of the US since we are adverse to losing any lives at all is very significant. Is anyone in Washington taking the Chinese threat seriously?

The announcement by Pres. Trump of the immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria has now been lengthened to a period of months. A great fear of a quick withdrawal would be that Russia would fill that void. Theoretically, this quick removal was the reason Gen. Mattis resigned, but on recommendation from Sec. of State Mike Pompeo and PM Netanyahu of Israel, the Pres it appears to have listened to them and delaying the removal. How should outsiders view this critical policy move by the President?

The advancements and increase of threatening’s by Russia against the U.S. in the last years is astounding. They continually encroach on U.S. airspace. They tamper with our media and create cyber-attacks. Now they are announcing major new weapons systems that are at this time impossible for the U.S. to defend against and they are building a nuclear base with major new technology in Venezuela (just to our south and no one is saying anything). Is the Russian Bear awakening?

The federal government remains in partial shutdown with no end in sight. With the President drawing a red line, the Democrats drawing a red line, battle lines are drawn. What’s the mood like in D.C. and is it a conducive to any unified efforts on behalf of the American people?
There’s a lot of change happening in Washington D.C. Is the amount of change going to be good or bad for the administration?
