The Austrian prime minister recently announced policy changes that would evict between 40-60 Muslim clerics and their families due to the results of public scandals showing that these mosques were plotting to overthrow the Austrian government and impose an Islamic caliphate. Then specifically Turkey’s President Erdogan responded by saying, “These measures taken by the Austrian prime minister are, I fear, leading the world towards a war between the cross and the crescent”. What is to be made of this announcement?

Is it possible for Russia to stay out of the engagement in Syria between Russia and Iran?

Iran threatens Israe,l but Israel issues a stark warning to Syria and Iran as well. What is this warning? Can they actually accomplish it?

Recently, it was revealed that large numbers of Syrian soldiers in Syrian uniforms were also amassing in the same areas. An informant however released information to the Israeli intelligence that most of these ‘Syrian’ soldiers were in fact Iranians just dressed in Syrian uniforms. How does this raise the level of seriousness by which Israel must respond?

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu recently made a video message that discussed offering Water technology to the Iranians. The sharp contrast between the threats of Iran and the promises to help of Israel couldn’t be more apparent. A message like this has to be well received by the Iranian people who are literally drying up in their prolonged drought. What is the potential impact or is this just a made for media strategy?
