There are a lot of goals and resolutions being made because of the new year! This week we talk about the lie we often hear telling us that, "these goals should be easier to complete because I follow Jesus." The thing is, we are not promised an easy life. This weeks conversation is something we are praying that as Christian women, we take into 2023 and how we pursue our relationships with each other. 

Being unified under Christ's love, is the most rewarding way we can live our lives and relationships with each other. This week we dig into John 17, which is Jesus' prayer before He dies on the cross. In His prayer, He asks that we as Christians would be unified in His love. We encourage you to go dig into the Word and read this chapter for yourself. Let's work together to be unified because of His love!

Hey y'all! We hope you had a great Christmas week, celebrating Jesus and His birth! This week we talk about having patience in every circumstance, even when it feels like what we hope for, will never happen. It can be hard to wait for something you really want or thought would have already taken place. 

The good news is, when we hear that we have waited long enough and should take things into our own hands, we can know this is a lie and we are able to trust our Heavenly Father and His timing because He is good and He cares for you! Have a wonderful week!

We look at truth in the Bible, of people who were following after Jesus with their lives and could have easily felt this way, yet they chose to see the way God was working through their experiences.

Who has said this before? We definitely have. It's so easy to go, go, go and never take time to rest in the presence of God.

This week we are continuing the conversation of "I am nothing without _______." All of us struggle with finding our identity in something other than what God says about us and who we are. In this episode we continue this lie and go further by saying "I hear what you're saying, but I can't let go - I don't know how." This lie comes from a place of fear to surrender who we think we are and take up our God given identity.

Questions to think through this week:
How can we live this out in our lives when we are afraid to give up an identity we've given ourselves? 

Why do we think that we can find security in an identity that can so easily be stripped from us? 

AYO it got real this week!!! We battled against the lie that we are nothing without ________ (fill in the blank.) So many times it is easy to let other things and people fill the gap in our hearts that only God was ever meant to fill! He is the only one who can give us our identity. When we know who we are in Christ (loved, cherished, forgiven, adopted as His daughter), then our identity is secure and we don't have to search for it to be filled any longer.
