Alcohol is something that is SO normalized in our society. Bad week? Drink. Long day at work? Drink. Nice day outside? Drink. You get it. While the moderate consumption of something enjoyable and stress relieving is not the problem, the way it is pushed as a coping mechanism, the dependancy forming habits, and way it is so accessable, IS. People are in jail for marijuana, yet alcohol is celebrated. With marketing and money, alcohol may seem impossible to avoid.
