Standing Firm in Our Freedom in Christ - Galatians 5:1-6
Preached by: Ptr. Enteng Ramoneda
Why shouldn’t any believer of Jesus Christ seek to obey the Word only for the purpose to make his justification seem sure? In addressing the Galatian believers who were inclined to submit to the law just to make their justification sure, Paul sought to keep them from falling into such persuasion and fall into slavery again. He argued that the thought of making their justification sure by their obedience to the law, even after believing in Jesus Christ, is not in harmony with His grace, because Christ works to transform believers through Spirit-wrought faith; that it is His work that earned for them their entire salvation.
