Your mind has a hidden filter—the RAS—that controls what you notice and what you miss. In this powerful new episode of Standing in the Light, we break down how to rewire your focus and finally align your thoughts with the reality you’re trying to create.
🎧 Tune in now: Want It? Train Your Brain to Let It In! Don't Neglect Your Thought Power!
With a special reading from Doug Hooper's You Are What You Think, Book 1, Article 2 "Thought Power Neglected"
A long time ago, in the 90s, I wrote a letter to one of my favorite authors and mentors Doug Hooper. I did not receive a letter from Doug but I did receive a beautifully scripted letter from his wife Eileen Hooper. Accompanying her response were two treasures: a memorial written by their son, and a short story introducing us to Grandpa, by their grand daughter.
I am honored to hold these special artifacts from Doug's life and pledge to carry his light through this platform.
Somewhere, Doug is smiling, re-living his work through my attempts to connect all, to him. His words are profound; and his wisdom has fueled me through the hills and the valleys of my being. Thank you Doug Hooper for all that you did for humanity and thank you Eileen for allowing me into the folds of your family long enough to feel the impact of your husband's legacy, from within.

As I reviewed this episode for publishing, I was brought to tears with how incredibly profound my children's insights are, and how incredibly blessed I am to be their mom.
This SITL Podcast project has always been an opportunity for me to find a way to showcase the beauty and intrigue in all of the individuals I'm fortunate enough to share some time with, but this episode will forever be a treasure; moments in time that are captured forever because my babies are all growing much too quickly and my mama heart breaks with the realization.
Here I share some of my heart:
Theo age 16
Julian age 12
Oliver age 10
Adelaide age 3 (but 4 in May).
Thank you, God, for these beautiful children, and thank you all for stopping to enjoy their innocence and insights with me.https://docs.google.com/document/d/175PloJuXeJrPCQce114TYp761DDdatWqZ47eztvA03s/edit?usp=sharing

"Love Reign Down on Me"
by Peyton Davis
" Maybe in a little while
we can fill up this space,
but for now let's just enjoy
going our own way.
Letting each moment flow,
allowing ourselves to be so free,
living so spontaneously
feeling free,
letting love engulf me,
love reign down on me."
***Please note: from 6:13-6:44 Mr. Coville discusses his daily mantra and the transcript should read:
"One thing I do now, is I have a list of what I want to be true about myself that I read every morning, and the concluding item on it is this, and I read this to myself every single day. I try with all my heart to do right by everyone whose life I touch with either deeds or words in every day that's given to me; and that's sort of my operating mantra. Do I always live up to it? No, but it is the goal I set for myself literally every single morning."
