Standing Room Spartans

We revisit a preseason episode where we predicted the MSU team leader in every statistical category (pass yards, rush yards, receptions, sacks, etc etc) and why we got nearly all of them wrong!  We also put our two cents in about Ohio State's performance in the CFP Semi-Final on Friday night.

PACKED show today with a ton of news flying in through the week.

We start with the biggest news - National Signing Day - where we landed a surprise player, and had a couple other impact announcements throughout the day.  We talk about Shakur Brown and Naquan Jones declaring for the draft - where we think they can get drafted and what that means for next year's depth chart.  Shakur Brown and Julian Barnett are gone next year, with Chris Jackson seemingly in hot water, what does that mean for the DB depth chart in 2021?  On top of all of that, for the first time all year Mel Tucker named Payton Thorne as the starter early in the week, what does that mean for his confidence?

*Maryland Preview coming tomorrow as a separate episode*

We got off the rails and talked about everything MSU football.  In addition to previewing and predicting this weekend's game against Penn State (including some fun prop bets), we talked about some new recruiting updates, how the roster turnover might look this off-season after some interesting comments by Drew Beesley and Mel Tucker, the QB competition (again fueled by Tucker's comments), and more!
