Midwestern State closes the regular season with a rare home-and-home set with Lubbock Christian. The Mustangs host the Chaparrals on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and visit Lubbock Christian for the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. The Mustangs have won 10 of their last 11 games and have a 21-5 overall record with a 16-4 mark in the LSC. It is possible that Midwestern State could earn the No. 1 seed in the LSC Postseason Tournament, but it is more likely that MSU would be the No. 2 seed if they take care of business against a Lubbock Christian team that has a 10-game winning streak and is 17-3 in the LSC. Thursday night could be the final home game for Pierre Sanders, who has been a remarkable player for the Mustangs since his arrival in 2020 and has been with head coach Justin Leslie for five of his six seasons at the helm of the program.
