This week's Stang Gang Podcast features the latest news surrounding Midwestern State Softball with head coach Brittanie Talley. 

Midwestern State picked up its first conference win of the season on Sunday with an 11-6 win over St. Edward’s. Myranda Jimenez took advantage of her opportunity and was 3-for-4 with five RBIs, including a three-run triple in the sixth inning. The Mustangs put up multiple runs in three consecutive innings to close out the Hilltoppers.

This week, Midwestern State is traveling north of the Red River to meet Oklahoma Christian and Cameron. Both games have been pushed back a day, and hopefully the games can be played in reasonable weather conditions. The Stangs visit Oklahoma Christian on Saturday afternoon and will face Cameron on Monday.

The winter weather is creating some challenges for the Mustangs as they prepare for the games coming up this week, but Brittanie Talley is also seeing some benefits to the circumstances her team is having to deal with.
