Midwestern State has won seven of its last eight games and swept a four-game homestand against Lubbock Christian and No. 4-ranked Angelo State this past weekend. Addison Lindemann had her first save of the season and two-complete game victories in the circle. Kayleigh Bowers outpitched Cheyenne Floyd of Angelo State in a 2-1 victory on Sunday. Myranda Jimenez has an eight-game hitting streak after going 7-for-13 with three doubles and a triple during the homestand. Jimenez scored five runs and had two RBIs in the last four games. The Mustangs have been getting contributions throughout the lineup, and will need the same team effort as they travel to Western New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico for doubleheaders this weekend.
