This week's Stang Gang Podcast features an in-depth look at Midwestern State Women's Soccer with head coach Ryan Spence.

Midwestern State stunned No. 1-ranked Dallas Baptist with a 2-0 victory in the regular season finale at Patriot Soccer Field.

The Mustangs finish the conference campaign 10-0-4 and extend their unbeaten streak to 15 games. The overall record this season is 10-1-6.

Midwestern State is the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Lone Star Conference with 2.43 points per match. Conference standings were adjusted from a point system to “points per match” due to conference games not played due to weather.

The Mustangs host a quarterfinal match on Monday night at 7 p.m. against the winner of the St. Edward's vs. Lubbock Christian match, which will be played in Lubbock on Friday.

St. Edward's won the regular season meeting with the Lady Chaps in Austin on Oct. 25, 2-1.

MSU defeated  Lubbock Christian at Stang Park on Sept. 24, 2-0, and knocked off visiting St. Edward's 10 days later, 2-1.
