This week's Stang Gang Podcast features an in-depth look at Midwestern State Women's Soccer with head coach Ryan Spence.
Midwestern State is wrapping up a four-game road trip this week as it plays the conference opener at Texas A&M International on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The Mustangs home opener is scheduled for Saturday afternoon as MSU hosts LSC newcomer UT Dallas at 1 p.m.
Both games can be seen on https://www.flocollege.com/teams/7922494-midwestern-state-womens-soccer.
The Mustangs have opened the season with a record of 0-2-1, but MSU is creating more chances than ever before. The team is 12th in the nation with 21 shots per game. However, the Mustangs are just putting 6.33 shots on goal per game, and they are allowing 2.33 goals per game with a .500 save percentage.
A young team is still learning, but their head coach is pleased with their response during training sessions.
