Who are you really, Jesus? His own claim was clear, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). The biblical writers describe him as “the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature” (Hebrews 1:3), and “the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15). And yet, “Though he was God...he emptied himself” (Philippians 2:5-11) of divine privilege. He came fully as man. He came in all the weakness of human flesh to make God most accessible to us. He came as God to bridge the gap between God and man. That bridge between heaven and earth was a cross. 

In order to get back into the man Jesus, we will focus in on aspects of his physical presence that made the love of God accessible to so many. To know Christ begins by walking with the incarnate Jesus. As we spend time walking with him, we will be made more like him and thus be prepared to make him known as we walk in this world.
