There are issues here: The Nexus, Soran's lack of screen time and motivation, Data's abundant screen time and lack of payoff in the final conflict, and the tacked on death of Kirk, to name a few. Matthew and Dean still admit to liking the movie and do their best to mine this often-forgotten Trek for some gems.
