This week we dive back into the films with The Voyage Home. The Earth finds itself threatened by a huge cylindrical probe which is set to destroy earth and everything around it. Only one ship and crew can figure out why the probe is there and how to fix it. The Ship, the Enterprise...the fix, time travel! The Enterprise crew finds themselves in 1980's San Francisco where they not only have to repair the Enterprise but also have to capture what the alien probe seeks, whales. Will the crew be able to find and secure the whales? Will they be able to precure parts and repair the Enterprise? Will they kidnap a woman Kirk is interested in and bring her into the future? Will Earth be destroyed? Will McCoy save a dying woman with a pill? All these questions and more will be answered on this weeks episode of Hailing Frequencies Open.
