"J.J. Abrams returns to direct the final installment of the Skywalker saga." That's the second line in the press release issued by Lucasfilm to announce the start of filming on Episode IX. And if you consider what that means for the characters in the movie, it suggests a certain additional pair of finalities we'll be covering on this podcast. Punch it!

With Rian Johnson revving up on his trilogy, and Benioff and Weiss due to start on their own Star Wars series, is there even a place for Star Wars standalone movies any time soon? Plus, Ewan McGregor gets interviewed about an Obi-Wan movie again, and more about the Boba-Fett-linked James Mangold's upcoming schedule... Punch it!

7th in North America, 11th worldwide for 2018 - that's where Solo: A Star Wars Story stands right now. Will it hold there? Also, Donnie Yen's thoughts on Star Wars in China, and my thoughts on what Lucasfilm could do about it. Punch it!

In our last look at the season 2 episodes of Forces of Destiny, Ahsoka taunts Ezra and does something unexpected with his lightsaber, while Hondo Ohnaka and IG-88 join forces to capture Qi'ra for all of two seconds. Punch it!

Of the top three significant episodes of Season 2 of Forces of Destiny, in terms of canon significance, today we have the third of the three with "Perilous Pursuit," which gives us a fully-realized deleted scene from The Force Awakens. "Traps and Tribulations," meanwhile, features a host of pleasures and the biggest understatement of anything uttered in Season 2. Punch it!

Of the three meatiest episodes in the second season of Forces of Destiny, "Bounty Hunted" gets my first-place vote, and "Art History" gets my 2nd-place vote. Plus, more reasons why Chewie wants to cook porgs. Punch it!

The cold-blooded killer Ewoks are at it again, and Chopper's a big fan! Also, a touching tale on Naboo that may have the least story impact on the canon of any of this season's Forces of Destiny episodes - at least, as far as we know for now. Punch it!

In today's look at the Forces of Destiny season 2 episodes, we're closing out the first half with "The Path Ahead," in which we find out that the best thing for Luke's Jedi training is to cover his eyes; and "Porg Problems," because what you really wanted to see in The Last Jedi was a porg turning on a lightsaber. Punch it!

Teedo's string of griping is the funniest thing in this season of Forces of Destiny so far. And the episode "Bounty Hunted" is possibly the most significant one from a storytelling perspective in the whole season. Punch it!
