We know for a fact that Pablo Hidalgo has hidden clues about future movies in plain sight before - just look at the mention of Crait in the Rogue One Ultimate Visual Guide for proof. What might he be hiding in The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary about Solo: A Star Wars Story and Episode IX? Well, maybe Episode IX is a stretch because we don't know how much, if anything, of the work Colin Trevorrow did is being used by J.J. Abrams and Chris Terrio. (Probably not much, if anything.) But Solo: A Star Wars Story is much more of a known quantity to the Story Group... Punch it!

Star Wars fans love to talk about shipping in the new movies. Rey and Finn. Finn and Poe. Poe and Rey. Rey and Kylo Ren. Heck, people are even shipping Kylo Ren and General Hux now! Why do we care so much about shipping characters? Because we desperately want to see romance re-introduced as an element of Star Wars movies. And you only need to consider what the most critically acclaimed and fan-beloved Saga movie has, that none of the other ones have, to understand our deep desire for romance in Star Wars. Punch it!

The return of Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine has to be one of the biggest surprises about the finale trailer for Star Wars Rebels. But the trailer is almost as intriguing for what *isn't* there as for what is. Naturally, this opens the door to questions about the survival of all the characters through the end of the series. And there are more surprises, too - including the return of a certain-colored convor, the appearance of the "Ones," the ultra-powerful Force-wielders from the Mortis story arc of the Clone Wars, and Kanan giving himself a haircut Hera very much dislikes. Punch it!

We haven't been given the full picture of Luke's post-Return of the Jedi history yet, but we've been given some tantalizing clues thanks to The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary. In fact, we may be able to safely break that thirty-year time period into thirds based on what we now know about his activities. Whether that's an even three groups of ten years is still a mystery, but the book does potentially suggest that Luke and Ben may have parted ways years before Leia was aware of the schism. Punch it!

The Supreme Leader is dead. Long live the Supreme Leader! Just because Snoke is out of the picture, that doesn't mean it's not worth taking a deeper look at him to find out what the deal really is with him. After all, there could be more of him running around the Unknown Regions, right? Well, "running" may not be exactly right. But you get the idea. Also, apparently I'm teal color-blind, and that tree on Temple Island isn't what we thought it was. Punch it!

Before Captain Canady commanded a Dreadnought in the First Order, he served aboard a Star Destroyer in the Galactic Empire with the sweetest name for a Star Destroyer you've ever heard. Plus, more about the war profiteering in the galaxy; how many ships were sent after the fleeing Resistance ships; why Holdo's suicide shot was as super-damaging as it was; and the whole Star Destroyer/Battlecruiser naming thing - all that's on tap in today's deep dive into The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary. Punch it!

Surprise! Lucasfilm released an official synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story today. What does it reveal about the movie that we didn't already know? I'm dissecting the 76-word statement and comparing it against what we already know about the movie thanks to Ron Howard's prolific social media posts. Punch it!

How did Han sow the seeds of Snoke's destruction in his final moments on Starkiller Base? Why does Finn's jacket suggest more time passed in between The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi than we previously thought? These and more questions are being discussed in today's episode of the podcast, another deep dive into The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary. Punch it!

Did you know? The Resistance scribbled secret messages on some of the bombs they dropped on the Dreadnought in The Last Jedi. I'm translating a couple of those Auerbesh messages - plus, does a location on the galactic map in The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary hint at something about Solo: A Star Wars Story? Punch it!

During "Safe Week" last month, I shared with you the details of the story mode for Star Wars Battlefront II, which continued the story of Iden Versio and Inferno Squad. Well, it ended in a cliffhanger that was to be resolved with the DLC for The Last Jedi. And now that it's been out for a while, so spoilers *shouldn't* be an issue, I thought it'd be a good time to finish the story and close the book on Iden, Del, their daughter Zay, and the man who wants them to destroy them all - their old squadmate, Gideon Hask, now an officer in the First Order. Punch it!
