In the new canon Star Wars novel BROTHERHOOD by Mike Chen, there's a moment where Anakin Skywalker is called "General" by a nearby Clone Trooper. Anakin thinks to himself how odd it is to be called by this title, and how he didn't become a Jedi to become a war general. I really like how they added this little detail in there. I think it adds to Anakin's overall views of how the Jedi were leaning into the politics and war of the Republic, and how he didn't want to be there.

In Star Wars the Revenge of the Sith, we travel back to the scene where Anakin, Palpatine and Obi-Wan Kenobi crashed through Coruscant's sky aboard the Inivisble Hand Ship (General Grievous' 'ship'). In the movies it made Anakin look like all he was doing was just pushing buttons and being a naturally gifted pilot...but the novelization takes us deeper. Anakin actually was using the force to land it by means of controlling it's parts, bypassing the Council's forbidden rules to not meddle with the force's will.

In today's podcast of Star Wars Theory, we will cover the canon comic book Darth Vader - where he today finally learns, from Palpatine, Why Sith lightsabers are red just after Revenge of the Sith. Plus, Anakin's Lightsaber from Attack of the Clones (made years prior) was very similar to Darth Vader's after Anakin Skywalker lost to Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar.

It seems we have a bit of a hint regarding the timeline in which the Kevin Feige Star Wars movie will be in. It WON'T have anything to do with the last 70 years in Star Wars with the Skywalker saga. So it won't be about Anakin or Luke or Obi-Wan or anyone in the generic timeline. I'm hoping it's either Old Republic, or it's hundreds of years after Episode 9 Rise of Skywalker and all about an adult Grogu Jedi Mandalorian.
