In the original screenplay/script for Star Wars Revenge of the Jedi (Return of the Jedi), George Lucas had Luke Skywalker build his own lightsaber, where Yoda would speak to him and tell him that his training is now complete. Samuel L. Jackson has recently expressed interest in returning as Mace Windu in The Mandalorian. I would love to see Mace, I just wouldn't understand how he'd stay silent for so long while Vader and the Emperor thrive. They'd have to explain how he stayed hidden, and WHY he stayed hidden for so long. He doesn't seem like the type to go quietly.

A recent report (rumor which might not be true) is circling the web and I'd like to give my thoughts on it. Darth Maul, allegedly, to be in Kenobi before the script re-write. This would have been like a Mandalorian Grogu plot line where the Mando is protecting baby Yoda. Except now it's Obi-Wan Kenobi protecting Luke Skywalker from Darth Maul.
