Star Wars Time

Welcome back to the Star Wars Time Show! Not too much going on in Star Wars world this week, but we have you covered on everything you want to know and need to know.

https://youtu.be/1vareFCJmlU

For the first topic this week, we cover the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace. Matt also wrote a piece on Why TPM is not the worst Star Wars movie, so make sure to give that a read!

Next, we cover Bob Iger's announcement that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, of Game of Thrones fame, will be leading the new Star Wars trilogy set to release in 2022!

Our last piece this week is the Top 5 Instagram Pics of the Week! We are experimenting with a little shift in this segment based on listener feedback, so make sure to let us know how you like it in this new spot!

Make sure to follow us on our social channels and give us feedback on the show and our site coverage!

May the Force be with you, always.

We are back for another special topic cast here at the Star Wars Time Show. This time we talk about how Disney has done with the Star Wars license as a whole.

https://youtu.be/l-6vIwQWpE8

We don't focus solely on the movies in this cast. In fact, we spend more time talking about all of the things around the movies and how Disney has done with the everything from the new EU to the video games.

Overall, Matt and I both feel like Disney has done a pretty good job, but as with everything, there is room to improve. Let us know how you feel about Disney's job in the comments or on our social channels!

Welcome back to the Star Wars Time Show! This week we have a packed schedule for you, so strap in!

https://youtu.be/0cnRSYnIhbg

First up on the docket is the Top 5 Instagram Pics of the week! We have some truly great pieces this week, but my personal favorite is the menacing General Greivous shot from Blksrs. Make sure to give all of these artists a follow on IG!

The fandom section continues with a truly amazing Rise of Skywalker poster created by Photoshop master CamVeeFX on IG and an exclusive Animated Holiday Special Boba Fett from Funko.

Our last fandom topic is a true masterpiece to behold. YouTuber FXitinpost has finally released a project known as Star Wars SC 38, a full re-imagining of the fight between Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in A New Hope. Make sure to give the video a watch!

Next up we move into some news around the expanded universe content leading into The Rise of Skywalker and discuss a possible second season for The Mandalorian.

We briefly touch on a rumor that could be filled with spoilers. We don't go into details in the podcast, but if you want to read about this rumor you can do so here.

Finally, we discuss the 3 years break for Star Wars after the release of The Rise of Skywalker. We have lots of strong feelings about this, and we would also like to hear your opinions, so reach out to us and let us know what you think.

Welcome back to a special edition of the Star Wars Time Show!

If you have been following along with us for a while, you know that our mid-week show always covers a special topic of a show review. Since there are no Star Wars shows on the air tonight currently, we have been using the mid-week show to throw out some homebrewed speculation around The Rise of Skywalker. Last week we covered some Palpatine speculation, and this week we are going to go over the mysterious MacGuffin that has been rumored.

https://youtu.be/jimysDLxj2c

The theory that we go over in this cast is that a holocron will be the plot device that will cause the Resistance and First Order to meet up early in the movie and possibly chase each other across the galaxy up until the climax of the film. If you have played any of the video games, read any books/comics, or watched any of the TV shows, you most likely have seen or heard of Sith or Jedi holocrons. Their use as repositories of information make them a perfect candidate to get The Rise of Skywalker's story moving quickly from the get go.

Make sure to subscribe to the podcast anywhere you listen, and let us know what you think about this theory on our social channels!

This cast was a bit of a somber one due to the passing of Peter Mayhew, the actor who first brought Chewbacca to life, so we commemorate him by talking about a few of our favorite Chewie moments, while also highlighting a few tributes his cast mates gave him.

https://youtu.be/--kVc9OKODc

Of course, we also featured a few Chewie toy photography tributes from the community during our fandom segment, which Nick highlighted in his Top 5 post from last week. During this segment we also mention the new Vader Smuggler's Bounty box, and Razer's new line of Stormtrooper inspired PC gaming peripherals.

I believe we go on a tangent or two, but quite frankly I was buzzed during the cast and don't fully remember what they were about, so you'll have to tune in to find out where they go. Honestly though, I broke my hand and can't type for shit, so I'm over trying to type up this post.

But we do end on some Mark Hamill Twitter trolling, who riled up his fans last week with a Photoshop image featuring the old trilogy cast together on the Falcon.

Tune in, subscribe, like, rate, review, and all that other stuff above!

Welcome back to another special edition of the Star Wars Time Show! This week, the boys bring you a quick run down of how Emperor Palpatine could make his way back to the land of the living in The Rise of Skywalker.

For this cast we are working off of some theory crafting done by Matt. He put together a video that brings together some of the best speculation from around the internet and adds it to some solid theorizing from Matt. You can follow along with us on Matt's original post, and make sure to give the video a watch too, as Matt expertly breaks down how and why this theory is so plausible.

Make sure to reach out to us on our social channels to let us know what you think about this theory! Do you love it/hate it? Do you have a better theory on how the biggest bad in the Star Wars movie universe could return in The Rise of Skywalker? Let us know!

May the Force be with you, always.

It's Tuesday. You know what that means, a new episode of the Star Wars Time Show! The holonet has been a little slow since Star Wars Celebration wrapped up, but Matt and I have you covered with all of the juicy rumors and theories out there on the internet. We will even supply you with a home cooked theory on this episode!

https://youtu.be/7w9sHGvwHvU

First up this week, we get into the fantastic fandom with our Top 5 Instagram Pics of the Week! Some really top notch shots here including an amazing Last Supper scene recreation from FigureHertz!

Next, we talk about everything that is coming, and isn't coming, to Disney+ on day 1. Suffice it to say that this streaming service will be well worth the $7 a month!

Big spoiler alert for the next part of the show as we talk about 2 rumors swirling around The Rise of Skywalker. One about a possible major character re-emerging, and another about some new force abilities we could see in the movie.

Finally, I, Nick, bring you a theory that has come straight from my head and onto the big screen when The Rise of Skywalker releases. If you tuned in to our The Rise of Skywalker title speculation cast, you may have heard the beginnings of my theory. This week we go into some more detail on how Anakin Skywalker will be involved in The Rise of Skywalker.

Make sure to follow us on our social channels and let us know what your thoughts are on our Anakin theory or anything else we talked about this week!

May the Force be with you, always.

Do you know what The Rise of Skywalker could mean as a title? Will Luke LITERALLY rise from the grave? Will Kylo become a true Skywalker by redeeming himself?

https://youtu.be/TV0VON5_u-c

Matt and Nick dive into this very intriguing topic in a special edition of the Star Wars Time Show. We talk through 4 theories that Matt wrote up this week, and some of them definitely sound like they could answer some questions about The Rise of Skywalker and what it could mean.

Add in some spicy speculation about how Anakin Skywalker could be involved in all of this and you have yourself a nice, bite sized speculation cast!

Enjoy, and may the Force be with you, always.

Welcome back for the 3rd cast in a row from the Star Wars Time boys! Star Wars Celebration has definitely forced us to work a little overtime, but we don't mind. Celebration has given us a ton of great reveals and information about upcoming projects, and today's panel on The Mandalorian was no different. Let's get into it.

https://youtu.be/PvFwDq5Es2o

Overall, the panel was great. It was a true love fest between the creators, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, and the actors on stage, Carl Weathers, Pedro Pascal, and Gina Carano. We basically got to hear the story of the shows origin from Jon and how Dave helped him really build the lore around the characters and the time period.

This panel definitely gave us what we wanted. A clear idea of the story and tone of the show and a look at what we can expect from its characters. A+ job by Favreau, Filoni, and all of the actors in attendance. Definitely looking forward to seeing the show when it release on November 12th!
