In our Traditional Message celebrating the 100th Anniversary of our sanctuary, Andy looks at Exodus 13: 20-22. The Lord led the people as a pillar of fire by night; He led the people who helped build this sanctuary, and He leads us now. They were faithful in the past. May we do the same.
In our sermon from our Traditional Service on October 11, 2026, Andy shares with us from Exodus 3: 1-12. We look at how Moses had to see the great thing that God has done. In the same way, when we, as a church, are serving and living out our mission, we will impact people in ways that we cannot even imagine. But it will take all of us, doing our part. May people see the things that God has done here!
There is a temptation towards nostalgia, even in the Bible, but nostalgia often has us longing for the "good old days" without recognizing what made them good in the first place. The church's hope through the last 2,000 years is the same today as it was "back then:" the presence of God guiding us.
