The Capricorn mantra is " I achieve my goals with emotional self-reliance" so no whining; just put one step of progress in front of another as the universe supports responsibility in a big way now.

Insights will be coming through as Venus and the Sun make the last quarter square to Uranus in Aries. Venus will then enter Aquarius Jan. 17 - Feb. 10th allowing those insights to be transmuted into action and a renewed sense of objectivity around what is yours to accomplish and what is not.

Finally, Jupiter @ 19* Scorpio makes the waning sextile to Pluto @ 19* Capricorn. Salacious compulsions and obsessions will be back in the news with more power struggles and gender issues revealed on the always intense and extraordinary journey to the core of the Soul.

here is a mixed bag of energies to begin the New Year. Mercury, racing now through Sag makes a waning trine to Uranus in Aries and a last quarter square to Chiron before conjoining Saturn in Capricorn. So to say we start the New Year with some busy-bodiness in the air is an really an understatement.

The Sun and Venus will conjunct Pluto @ 19* Capricorn Jan. 9th, invoking us to step up to the plate and implement those nebulous resolutions with self-discipline.

Mars and Jupiter make their conjunction in Scorpio, also @ 19*, squaring the nodal axis. Consensus power usually comes down to the money and this is the aspect of secret, dirty money laundering on a grand scale.

Mark 19* of Capricorn-Scorpio in your own charts and become aware of the physical and emotional power plays in your own life.

With Mercury's ingress into Capricorn, and no less than six archetypes soon joining there, we must calm down and get serious on this truly palpable and substantial journey to the core of the Soul.

The Full Moon in Cancer amps up the emotions to the extreme as it opposes Sun and Venus. This edginess comes from the distinct Capricorn flavor in the sky as we approach the New Year; finding ourselves slowly getting back into normal social routines and work after the holidays.

In addition, key planetary pairs in balsamic phase to one another adds to the seriousness. Earnest measures to control the things we can is what Capricorn does. However, peace can also be achieved by simply recognizing and forgiving the things that we cannot control. The wisdom is to know the difference. So a lot of self-reflection is occurring as we close out 2017, the Year of Activism.

Mars and Jupiter remain very active squaring the nodes of the Moon. Trust your gut before acting out. Jupiter asks, "What are you having problems assimilating in your Life?"

Finally, Uranus goes stationary direct just after New Year's and makes the waning semi-square to Chiron in Pisces. Additional self-healing may be needed before we accelerate too fast on the always rewarding, but never-ending journey to the core of the Soul.

Our focus is on the mid degrees of the water signs with Jupiter @12* Scorpio making the waning trine to Neptune @12* Pisces. This is the first of three; end of May and early August yet to come so get out your charts and map those degrees for maximum healing.

Intend for a deepening commitment to Source and the evolution of your beliefs on emotional and spiritual levels. Chiron, stationary direct @24* Pisces will reveal the layers still needing work.

Mars in Scorpio for seven weeks, quickens more power plays that may instinctively arise and will conjunct Jupiter there in January 2018. Expect the sexual distortions and macabre news to continue. It is being revealed as the next necessary step in healing mass consciousness in this regard.

Mercury makes in conjunction to the Sun @21* Sag breathing life back into our decision-making process. Venus, also in Sag, will make the waning square to the higher octave of Neptune challenging us to walk our talk in all ways on this inspirational and deeply personal journey to the core of the Soul.

The lesser known, but most effective and noticeable transit in the sky remains Jupiter waning inconjunct to Chiron stationary retrograde in Pisces. This is the cycling of these two planets from full phase to disseminating phase and has been the trigger for the distorted sexual revelations involving celebrities and politicians.

Mars makes the waxing inconjunct to Chiron, as well, and this represents the wounded gender relationships fostered in our society and workplaces.

Sun in Sagittarius is all about the relativity of truth with others, hence providing the necessary reckoning with the involuntary sexual acts and advances perpetrated upon those in deferential roles.

Finally, we invite you to get all the comprehensive transit details in the free and very busy Mercury retrograde webinar coming your way Wednesday, Nov. 29th @ 6 pm MST. Get you webinar registration link on the website or in AstroNews.

The New Moon @ 26* Scorpio this weekend portends deep emotional intuition. The Scorpio mantra: "I metamorphose myself with evolving self-reliance"

The Sun will enter Sagittarius Nov. 21st and that mantra: "I understand the relativity of truth with others"

So the end of the month has a unique flavor of intensity and truth seeking as we commence with Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius Dec. 2nd. Mercury will also make three conjunctions to Saturn in late Sag prior to Saturn's entrance into Capricorn on Dec. 19th. Lots of pressure to be accountable and speak the truth - or else.

Finally, Mars' last quarter square to Pluto @ 18* Libra-Capricorn is all about equality and fairness in action. The Universe prefers to align that way in spite of the plutocrats and oligarchs incessant and clandestine efforts to exert control over the masses.
