En: A cool autumn night embraced the Mėnulio Apšviestą Paplūdimį (Moonlit Beach).
Lt: Viskas buvo taip ramu, kad net jūros bangų tylūs atspindžiai pasiekė jaukaus paplūdimio namelio sienas.
En: Everything was so calm that even the soft reflections of the sea's waves reached the walls of the cozy beach house.
Lt: Mindaugas, stambaus stoto vyras su šiltu žvilgsniu, sėdėjo terasoje ir žvelgė į dangų.
En: Mindaugas, a large-statured man with warm eyes, sat on the terrace and gazed at the sky.
Lt: Jis galvojo apie savo šeimą – apie žmoną Aldoną, kuri staiga iš virtuvės pasigirdo padegamais indais, ir dukrą Gabiją, kuri neseniai atrodė tolima lyg horizontas.
