When we think about idols, we typically think of an ancient culture that worshipped something that was man-made. But we are too smart to do something like that. Or are we? It’s easy for a good thing to quietly become the center of our life and the source of our meaning and happiness. When that happens, you’ll become fearful, worried, and even angry at the thought of losing it. There is only one thing that can meet our deepest needs…Jesus. Join us the month of November as we discover our own modern idols and restore God to His rightful place in our lives

Most adults spend over HALF their life at work. Yet, many Christians– from the CEO to the teacher to the stay-at-home mom– struggle to see how their faith intersects with their 9-5 job. Join us this October for I Love Mondays, a new series exploring how our calling & career can bring glory to Christ in the marketplace, our families, and world. When Christians work with creativity, excellence, and integrity, we bring home so much more than a paycheck. When God is “on the job,” we discover the divine purpose, significance, and blessing in our 9-5 work. You may even say, “I Love Mondays!”

We want our friends and especially our enemies to think we have it all together. We need to look like the perfect mom, dad, or friend. We need them to be jealous of our curated life. And yet there’s another part of us that longs to be known for who we really are. To be accepted without the filters and props. To be loved even without a mask.
Jesus invites us into a different kind of community. The kind where who you really are matters more than anything. The type of community in which no one is perfect and it’s a safe place to…Drop the Mask.
