The song's almost 10 years old but whatever

This has been going on for quite some time, and now here it is.

Some of the instruments are the identical ones from the original, some are not.

EQ is wildly different and I haven't touched that, I rolled with the raw instruments and only added some reverb.

Cuica was a mess here, especially because in GM, Cuica is not a separate instrument; it's part of a drum kit. This cover uses *3* separate instance of cuica in unison to play tight notes. Notes were implemented by pitch automation.

Now that the 24 hr has passed, I'll throw in my Field of Hopes and Dreams x Calamari Inkantation mashup.

The game was thoroughly amazing. The story, the animation, the music, new battle mechanics, it was all fantastic.

After listening the Field of Hopes and Dreams it struck me that the melody's very similar to Calamari Incantation, hence this mashup. I literally made while i was in class (not a very good student :P) so it's very dirty. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless!
