Everyone has to start somewhere, even your humble host.  See the beginnings of Aaron Steinmetz in this whimsically awful short story written back in 1995, and enjoy my desperate attempts to revise it.  And as a bonus, check out the original version at my website complete with notes from the teacher whose advice is quite solid.  We should listen to her too.

Bad to worse is only the beginning of this maestro's problems in this bar story.
