صباح العسل (Sabāḥ el-ʿasal) — Sweet morning
مساء الخير (Masāʾ el-khēr) — Good evening

How to ask “How are you?”:
إزَّيَّك؟ (Izzayyak?) — How are you? (male)
إزَّيِّك؟ (Izzayyik?) — How are you? (female)
كويس / كويسة (Kwayyis / Kwayyisa) — I’m good
الحمد لله (El-ḥamdulillah) — I’m well, thanks to God
تمام (Tamām) — All good
Introducing yourself:
اسمك ايه؟ (Ismak eh?) — What’s your name?
أنا اسمي… (Ana ismi…) — My name is…
Where are you from:
إنت منين؟ (Enta minēn?) — Where are you from?
أنا من… (Ana min…) — I’m from…
Talking about work:
بتشتغل ايه؟ (Biteshtaghal eh?) — What do you do?
أنا بشتغل… (Ana bashtaghal…) — I work as…
Keep the conversation going:
و إنت؟ (We enta?) — And you?
Talking about where you live:
عايش فين؟ (ʿAyish fēn?) — Where do you live?
أنا عايش في… (Ana ʿāyish fī…) — I live in…
Polite expressions:
فرصة سعيدة (Forsa saʿīda) — Nice to meet you
تشرفنا (Tasharrafna) — Pleased to meet you
الشرف ليا (El-sharaf liyya) — The honor is mine
