Why Not?

Starting a business to empower women in the outdoors with Erin Crider

Listen Later

Erin Crider is the founder and owner of Uncharted Outdoorswomen. Previously, she has worked with the Colorado Wildlife Council and Trout Unlimited, to help educate people on conservation and outdoor skills. She saw the lack of resources for women in the outdoor world and started her own business to empower women. Uncharted Outdoorswomen creates safe spaces for women to build confidence via hands-on educational opportunities. They are located in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and Oregon. Thier goals are to build an inclusive community, build confidence, develop outdoor skills, and teach ethical habitat and wildlife use practices. Conservation is one of Uncharted Outdoorswoman's highest priorities; having a good time lies just below that.
