On this episode of my podcast, I'm joined by the incredibly intelligent and funny Misha!
I was lucky enough to be introduced to her by a childhood friend of mine, and had the honour of interviewing her about her life's struggle and accomplishments. Misha, who happens to be a survivor of sexual assult, is the co-founder of Speak Up Sophia, a university organization created to educate and spread the concept of consent , and ultimately prevent sexual assaults in Japan. She is an inspiration to us all, as she created something so meaningful out of an experience that should never occur. She is also a frequent contributor to the Japan Times, and now currently a masters student at the esteemed University of Tokyo, where she studies political science. Throughout this podcast, she shares a lot of the traumas she had to endure and overcome to be at where she is today. Paired up with her great sense of humor, I can confidently say that this interview was one of the most inspiring and entertaining podcasts I've recorded thus far.
Hope you enjoy this episode!
