The 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage is almost here β and there's a LOT to unpack. Adelia and Fares break down Groups G through L, covering every team, every storyline, and every group worth watching as the tournament kicks off.
From Belgium and Egypt in Group G, to Spain and Uruguay in H, France and Norway in I, defending champions Argentina in J, Ronaldo's Portugal in K, and England vs. Croatia in a loaded Group L β these six groups are packed with drama, dark horses, and must-watch fixtures.
Who's advancing? Who's getting upset? Let's get into it.
The World Cup is less than two weeks away. Adelia and Fares are kicking off Starting Eleven's 2026 FIFA World Cup coverage with a full breakdown of Groups A through F β 24 teams, a host nation under pressure, a group of death (or two), and a couple of squads nobody's sleeping on.
Who's flying under the radar? Which group is an absolute nightmare? And which teams are going home in the group stage when they really shouldn't?
It's been a week and Adelia still can't believe that Arsenal are Premier League champions.
After one of the longest, most nerve-shredding title races in recent memory, the Gunners lifted the trophy on the final day of the 2025/26 season β and Adelia is absolutely insufferable about it. Snark, meanwhile, is processing a season that ended with Chelsea in 10th place, no European football, and absolutely no excuses left.
We're breaking down the final matchweek in full: Arsenal's coronation, the Chelsea collapse that somehow got worse in the final stretch, and Tottenham doing what Tottenham do β surviving relegation by the skin of their teeth and acting like they won something.
It's also the last Premier League show for Snark as a regular co-host, at least for now. He'll be popping up during our World Cup coverage when he can make it, but this is the end of an era for the weekly rivalry format β and yes, he's going out watching Chelsea miss Europe.
38 games. One champion. And a Chelsea fan who has to sit with it all summer.
One goal. One win. One title β the first in 22 years, clinched after a win at the Emirates against Burnley when Bournemouth held Man City to a draw a day later. Adelia gets to say it and mean it: the Gunners are champions of England. She, predictably, is not okay.
We break down every result from Matchweek 37 β Villa putting four past Liverpool, Sunderland turning over Everton, Man United edging Forest in a five-goal thriller, Newcastle dismantling West Ham, Chelsea beating Spurs 2-1 to push the relegation battle to the final day, and what it all means heading into the last matchweek of the season.
Starting Eleven. The one where Adelia might cry.
Three matches left. Arsenal sit five points clear. City just dropped two crucial points after a last gasp equalizer against Everton meant an unexpected result of a 3-3 draw. The title race isn't over β Adelia would like to stress that β but all Arsenal has to do now is win out and they're champions. We break down the biggest moments from Matchweek 35, including Arsenal's win against Fulham, Man United doing Man United things against Liverpool, and, sadly, Tottenham climbing out of the drop zone with a win at Villa while West Ham got absolutely battered by Brentford.
Oh, and Chelsea? Six straight league defeats after losing 3-1 at home to a Nottingham Forest side that was in a relegation scrap two months ago. But they finally scored their first league goal since March 4th, so there's that, I guess.
We get into all of it β the title math, the bottom-three chaos, and whatever the hell they're doing at Stamford Bridge. Starting Eleven, as always, does not hold back.
Arsenal are three points clear at the top and holding on. Nottingham Forest put five past Sunderland. Liverpool kept pace. Man United finished the week off with a win over Brentford. And Chelsea β who couldn't buy a goal in the league β headed to Wembley and booked their spot in the FA Cup final.
Matchweek 34 had title race implications, European race chaos, and the bottom of the table getting uglier by the week β Adelia and Snark break it all down.
It's Starting Eleven. Let's get into it.
Matchweek 33 delivered. A Merseyside Derby, Arsenal dropping points at the Etihad, Chelsea losing at home to Manchester United, a seven-goal thriller at Villa Park, and Wolves officially saying goodbye to the Premier League.
Adelia and Snark break down all the carnage, the title race implications, the European scramble that somehow keeps getting wilder, and the relegation picture with five weeks to go.
It's Starting Eleven. Let's get into it.
Matchweek 32 was not kind to North London β or to Stamford Bridge. Arsenal dropped a shock home result to Bournemouth, City came to Chelsea and made everyone forget their own problems real fast, and oh by the way β Tottenham lost to Sunderland and are in the relegation zone. The title race is heating up, the drop zone is a disaster, and we're breaking it all down.
Arsenal's lead at the top is shrinking. Chelsea's top-four hopes are fading. And somehow Tottenham Hotspur, a club with that stadium and that wage bill, is fighting to stay in the Premier League. We get into all of it, plus the rest of the weekend's results from around the league.
