Meet Steve Javiel..

A painter whose work is focused around experimenting with recreating the aged, decayed, layered surfaces around him

I may be biased, but he's my favorite abstract painter and I'm proud to own few of his paintings. I learned a lot from him about consistency, hustle and how salsa dancing is part of his influence.

Meet Gavin Grant..

A sculptor whose work will blow your mind tapping into the world of mind-bending geometric shapes blending architecture and nature.

He made me reimagine how "silence" can be use as fuel for creativity and focus.

Please note that this episode was recorded back in April 2019, his showcase I mentioned at Gensler Oakland has ended.
