Today we have a very special guest - Dr. Jo Braid - talking to us about why physicians and healthcare professionals burn out, how to identify burnout, how to prevent it, and tips on what you can do today to get relief if you're feeling burnout.
Dr Jo Braid is a life coach and MD. She helps doctors (and non-doctors) with stress and overwhelm in their lives. She did her medical degree in Nottingham, UK and moved to Sydney, Australia after working one year as a doctor in the NHS. Her medical speciality is brain injury medicine. She is the Medical Student Wellbeing Stream Lead for Charles Sturt University.
Jo is based in Orange, Australia, and lives with her husband, 3 active boys and a very active black labrador puppy.
