Jesus is closest to those who are farthest.  In this text from Mark 2, we see the heart of the Savior – bent on chasing after those who are in the middle of their sin and calling them to a new life in Him.

You know what you want; God knows what you need.  All people need to be restored to God.  In today’s amazing text, we see an example of Jesus demonstrating His authority to forgive sins and to restore people to relationship with God.

Jesus loves the unlovable.  This week we look at Mark 1:40-45.  In this account, Jesus cleanses a leper showing us that He is by nature a restorer of the broken.
