Welcome to episode one of the Starting The Wave podcast.
This podcast is designed as a toolkit to help anyone gain more clarity and understanding about how we have found ourselves in this emergency situation. The first season — called Anatomy of the Armageddon Crisis — explores the strategic decisions made by people over thousands of years that have led us to this point.
The level of powerlessness we all feel about the world today is not an accident. No one wants to feel powerless about the world, we all want it to change, yet we don't know where to start... why?
Because big business wants us feeling powerless. The money and influence of big business purposely shapes culture and thought through a set of very old stories, teachers, awards, and narratives that keep us distracted from real solutions.
Did you know Socrates taught a famous tyrant who ruled Athens, killing 5% of its population in eight months, and that Plato was directly related to the gang of people that rules with him? Did you know that Aristotle is an actual idiot who was wrong about logic — proven by a German guy who walked home with Einstein?
Probably not — and that's because the sanitised version of history we get at school leaves out a lot of critical facts. What we are taught about this world as we're growing up is not what happened... it's a story about what happened designed to make us feel powerless about changing the future created by big business.
This podcast episode is designed to show you how to start resisting the hopelessness of the world with self-love. In this episode, I'll explain to you how, if we could scale self-love to a billion people, we could kill big business and heal the world from the inside out.
If you want hope and a plan you can be part of to help heal the world, this podcast is for you.
