A Swiggy customer in Gurugram has accused a delivery partner of threatening to physically assault them, even as a Swiggy customer care executive was still on the line trying to solve the issue.

As per the screenshot accessed by Inc42, while the delivery address had all the required details for the delivery, the delivery partner reached the wrong address, claiming that it was the correct address.

On closer inspection, the screenshot clearly showed two separate delivery addresses one after the other, creating confusion for the delivery partner.

Subsequently, a Swiggy customer care executive got the delivery partner on call as well to mediate the matter.

The Irish Revenue Commission will assist SMEs experiencing cashflow difficulties during the coronavirus pandemic with several new measures.

As the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak continues and fears of an economic downturn rise, the Irish Revenue Commission has today (13 March) announced a number of measures to help SMEs that experience cashflow problems.

Revenue has also advised that businesses experiencing temporary cashflow difficulties should continue to send in tax returns on time.

Current tax clearance status will remain in place for all businesses over the coming months.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Mastercard and Wellcome committed up to $125m in seed funding to speed-up the response to the COVID-19 epidemic by identifying, assessing, developing, and scaling-up treatments.

The Gates Foundation and Wellcome are each contributing up to $50 million, and the Mastercard Impact Fund has committed up to $25 million to catalyze the initial work of the accelerator.

The Gates Foundation’s funding is part of its $100 million commitment to the COVID-19 response announced last month.

The accelerator will work with the World Health Organization, government and private sector funders and organizations, as well as the global regulatory and policy-setting institutions.
