After settling a patent infringement lawsuit filed against it by Peloton, fitness startup Flywheel will stop offering its At Home online classes on March 27.

Current Flywheel At Home customers were emailed a trade-in offer for Peloton bikes.

In an email to customers, Flywheel said its brick-and-mortar fitness centers will continue to operate.

Flywheel’s live classes will continue through February 29 and on-demand classes will be available until March 27.

BENGALURU: The income tax (I-T) department has taken Walmart-owned Flipkart to high court over its Rs 110-crore demand.

The case relates to the treatment of discounts as capital expenditure instead of revenue expenditure, according to court listings reviewed by TOI.

The tax demand here is for the financial year 2015-16, which has now got into another legal wrangle.

In simple terms, under I-T laws, if an expenditure results in an enduring benefit, it is to be capitalised.

Now, the CCI has accepted budget hotel chain FabHotels’ demand to be made a party in the ongoing case.
